Hibachi Buffet Menu

I love people watching at buffets with crab legs. Everyone grabbing at the crab legs like it's their last meal on earth. Heck, I've even stalked the chef taking fresh legs from the kitchen to the buffet table to get my share. Hibachi Buffet has a guy at the grill making personal hibachis. The sushi isn't the best I've ever had, but it's good and creative. There are many types of rolls to choose. The sesame balls are my favorite and the egg rolls are my least. The salt and pepper squid is phenomenal. My only complaint is the trouble locating proper utensils. I have yet to eat my sushi with chopsticks and had to grab a bus boy to find a knife. They have the crab leg breakers, but not the thin tool to get the meat out of the legs. The price makes up any issues I would consider above. This place is cheap. You will be full and satisfied when you leave Hibachi Buffet!

Door greeter very rude and stayed on his cell phone the whole time I was at the restaurant. Screaming into his phone in some middle eastern accent. Food OK but he ruined the experience

This place is getting a 4 star for comparative reasons. Their buffet is good to great with some killer crab won tons and chicken options but the hibachi aspect is lacking. The greeter, however, is always very nice and welcoming which helps pick up that 4th star. One of the better Chinese buffets I have been to.

This is tucked in with the huge Walmart, in the same strip mall. This is actually about my 3rd time back, and for less than $10 for lunch, it's really hard to beat. I always have some sushi. Today I tried the hibachi, and it was great.

My husband and I come here often. The food is fresh, the California sushi is tasty and the waitstaff keep the table clear of plates. I always enjoy this buffet. We have been to many Chinese food buffets and are usally disappointed but this one is consistently good.

It's an alright buffet. It's not worth the money though, but if you want to get something quick with a group then this should do the job. To make a long story short it's a buffet and the food is usually old.

Not a bad place to eat not the best either. The price at lunch isn't bad $7.99 for all you can eat. They season their food pretty well which is a plus I didn't reach for the salt shaker once! I'll probably come back for a lunch date with friends.

I've come back over and over. Not so much that I enjoy the food (its not bad) but more that I'm greedy. A buffet will usually get extra crefit with me. That being said, it's standard fare Chinese Buffet. Big dining area. Lite up nicely. Clean bathrooms. Never had a complaint with the greeter or the staff. (I found them quite friendly) You're sat at your table. You tell the waitress what you want to drink(sodas and juices only. No alcohol) Then it's ready, set, GO!, to the plates at the end of the food areas to pile your plates! As I said earlier, the food is fine. I've never walked out saying, "Oh my gawd! The dumplings are to die for!" But bring the family. You should have a decent time.

It's just MEH. I've been to better. It's loud, obviously, and there are kids, and its busy. But its just mediocre Chinese-American food. You come here, eat, and leave, and speak nothing of it.

We were quickly greeted and seated. They offered a 10% discount for veterans or a free drink. Overall most every one in our group got food they like. I only found one thing that wasn't so fresh. On the the other hand I enjoyed the fried fish tilapia and salt pepper chicken. Sushi fairly good variety The hot sour soup was pretty popular had to scrape the bottom to get a cup full. I think it's the best cheap buffet around for a weekday lunch. A lot of variety of your typical Asian food of various tastiness and quality. I enjoy trying a tiny bit of a lot of different things and then getting seconds of what is good that day. Signs say they will charge food wasters, so don't be taking tons of what you won't eat. It's cool once you figure out how to get the chef to make you a fresh custom Hibachi with your choice of ingredients. The price is included with the meal, but I think they expect a tip. I wish they labeled the sushi with their ingredients and had homemade tartar sauce for some of the fish dishes.

If you are hungry and want to get food fast, this is the place to go. They have a big variety of food and keep replenishing as items are eaten. They were accommodating to my son and made him a custom sushi roll.

Worst restaurant I've ever been too. Food was cold, overpriced, and my hibachi meal was made with so much soy sauce that I couldn't even eat it. I think I could skate around on the floors there was so much oil build up on it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I really want to give it a half star.

It's a clean place with a wide variety of foods to choose from and sushi offered at all times, not just weekends. The price is cheaper than in other buffets around the country and variety of foods still broad

Very nice buffet for someone who's craving seafood, sushi and other Asian foods. There's a small salad bar and it has a couple different types of salads. A few topping and dressings. More salad varieties would have been nice. The food is delicious, varied and always kept warm. The BBQ/Hibachi Grill area is amazing. There's a limit of 1 New York Strip Steak to be grilled for you by a chef along with your choice of vegetables and marinate. There are many different types of foods you can eat and they all suit vegetarians too. The dessert is also very good and they come in varieties with many fruits and even ice cream.

Went on a Wednesday evening and there was very little traffic. Which, for the most part seemed to equate to older food getting staler by the minute. Staff was very friendly though. We are from out of town, but even if we had the chance to return we probably wouldn't.

Great food, great prices. They even have authentic options for those Asian Americans like tripe and chicken feet. The frog legs at dinner is sooooo good. Take advantage of New York strip steak at dinner and fresh custom teriyaki stir fry throughout the day. Come on a busy Friday or Saturday night and you'll get the best selection and the freshest food choices. They also have tv's and free wifi!

One of the worst buffets I have ever been to. Nothing is fresh and the crab Rangoon was empty the whole time we were there. Although, there is a woman who comes to stir everything every five minutes, she never changes or replaces the food.

like the location and food, my favorites are the crab legs, sushi and the spicy shrimp

Hibachi Buffet (or as it was briefly known before opening, Buffett - no margaritas or Jimmy's in sight, though), opened a few weeks ago in the former Damon's space. The Mrs. and I decided to try it for dinner, and were quite impressed. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a huge chandelier in the middle and several small ones on the sides over the seating. There were at least 6 hot tables (I forgot to count) and two cold for salad and ice cream. There is also two grills at the hibachi station, a flat-top for hibachi and an open fire one for steaks and pork chops. All the food was tasty and they had a good selection of meats and seafood, along with dim sum and American foods. They didn't have chicken claws and traditional food, which is ok with me. The sushi was obviously made by at least two people of differing skill - some was very well made and artistic, while other rolls were kind of sloppy and inconsistent. They all tasted good. I like how they bring out smaller refills so the food is fresher. We also met the manager, John, who was very nice and checked in with everyone. We were a bit surprised that they'd have a Non-Asian manager, but he was on top of everything and chatted up several families in Arabic. I'll definitely be back to check this out for lunch. While the sushi selection isn't as huge as Fuji's, the price is a lot better and the food is better. The selection is a better than Mongolian Buffet (other than the traditional stuff) and it's cleaner - hopefully it will stay that way. Definitely worth a try if you're in the mood for Chinese buffet.

Yummy Hibachi Buffet! You walk in and immediately you start to smell the delicious mix of all the fresh American, Chinese and Japanese cuisines. You better go there hungry because they have so much food and many types of dishes that whoever you go there with will have to roll you out the door. I went there today and every dish i tried from the general chicken to the green beans, fried ragoons, sushi was great! Hibachi Buffet offers such a wide selection of food that no matter who you are dining with they will find something to eat and enjoy it. The price is great for the quality of food. $13.99 Dinner. I love deserts and i ate an amazing piece of apple pie with a scoop of butter pecan ice cream. A+. I like that they have a grill where the chef can cook the food in front of you. You don't see that very often in buffets. I for sure will do this next time i go. I am home now and my stomach has settled. I am hungry again I am thinking of all the dishes i wanted to try but did not have room for. There is always next time.

This was my wife and I(s) first visit here and this is how I rate it. Pros - Very clean and open spaces, brightly lit and nice inside windows showing Asian accented pictures. The wait staff very professional, friendly and help full, never had a finished plate sit at the table for very long at all and the server asked if I wanted a refill about 3/4s empty. plenty to pick from, I found that the rice ( lightly fried and plain white ),general tso chicken, bourbon chicken, Hot wings, pepper steak, cripsy chicken, were really good, my wife had some chicken terriaki from the Hibachi that she said was good and also said there were these fried corn thing she really liked.something that had mushrooms she liked but cant remember exactly what ( sorry ) all the food looked fresh all the way around. Cons - Dumplings were dry and the ginger sauce was a little boring. the terriaki chicken on a stick was very dry. lo mien noodles were bland. sweet and sour chicken kinda dry. wife said won ton soup wasn't that great. the wife commented some of the desserts she got were good and some not so good. I did go get a plate that had something on it then got the next plate which had something even bigger on it and the third plate had something even bigger on it Finlay the fourth plate from another section was safe to take.the fortune cookie given to us was very good and the employee entry way to back of the kitchen had a cart with tubs on it filled with dirty plates, something I don't want to see at a buffet. all in all it wasn't that bad of experience, with a buy one get one 1/2 off coupon with one pop came to $18 and some change and $2 for a tip, I felt I got my moneys worth, there were alot more things to choose from that I did not list or mentioned, I will try this place one more time but this time I will try the Hibachi station.

Best buffet I've ever been too!!! The price is definitely worth the quality of the food which you are offered!!! Yeah the crab there is excellent but the line is always short for it because along with Prime Rib, shrimp dishes and make your own steak for the main part of the deal, there are secrets scattered all over which make the crab line shorter and more likely to just skip until later. Some of my favorite things the are definitely the breaded Creamed Corn-yeah that's right-, the frog legs are great, the scrabbled egg cups are superb, and the huge variety of Sushi is a plus also!! For desert there is a varies selection of cakes, pies, iced cream, and puddings. There is this one dish that is a must-try also I believe it's called the triple french seafood, and omgosh it's one of the best. I really haven't messed with the Mongolian section yet but my buddy Al did and it looked devine!!!

Absolutely nothing "hibachi" about this place. Just another usual chinese buffet with same old low quality food with too much salt and msg. Did not like it at all.

The decor and food were excellent. The sushi was fresh and the hibachi grill comes with a variety of veggies! The shrimp was fresh as well. I only went during lunch but will definitely be coming back to try the snow crab and prime rib.

Was shopping on Van Dyke and decided to try this out. Our "usual" buffet place is Mongolian Buffet off of 12 & Ryan but we are trying to get out of that rut. The place is smaller than I thought from the outside but I really liked the layout of the buffet in the center of the place with the hibachi and sushi end to end at the back of the restaurant. The buffet was the typical chinese food buffet--nothing really stood out at unique enough to get me to change up my routine. After we had to hunt down a server for some silverware (not a huge deal, she forgot and apologized profusely) we dug in. You aren't going to find anything here that you wouldn't find at any other buffet. Some offer a few more atypical Asian dishes, some offer more Americanized dishes. I think this place has stuck with what works and is popular. Some of the things I liked: 1) Food looked and tasted fresh, even for a Monday night. 2) Sushi was a very nice cool temperature--unlike some buffets where the sushi gets a little lukewarm and gets kind of nasty tasting. 3) Good soup. Loved the "sweet and sour" (which, I assume, is their version of hot and sour). 4) Seafood was plentiful and no one was knuckle dragging over the bowl. 5) REAL ice cream! Don't fool yourselves into thinking those soft serve machines are real ice cream. I used to clean one of those machines for a local pet store/boarding facility (don't ask) and they are nasty if they aren't cleaned properly or the product sits too long in the machine. YUCK. Hibachi has a nice clean ice cream station and it's very good. Very few things I didn't like but some of the dishes, like General Chicken and the Hibachi chicken on the buffet were WAY too sweet. All in all, good place. We will come back if we are in the area and would recommend it to friends.

I decided to go for a nice family dinner tonight and chose Hibachi Buffet since I was waiting for it to open back when the sign said "Hibachi Buffett". Thank goodness that was fixed because the inner A plus English student in me was extremely annoyed every time I drove by. The layout is wonderful--many open areas for seating, food in the middle of the restaurant instead of to an awkward side or in the back as other places usually do. The food wasn't bad, plenty of buffet staples such as your General Tsao chicken, vegetable noodles, string beans, and so on. I'm not sure if there was a lack of crab legs tonight but I witnessed a customer asking one of the servers if there were any more crab legs and the lady brought out like three clusters after the customer inquired. Later on I saw a few more clusters brought out at a time. The oyster bar was good with nice, meaty oysters but after we grabbed a plate of about 10 oysters, I didn't see any more being put out. Maybe I should ask next time. The sushi was not that great. Most of it looked dried out. Not very appealing. Flavor was meh. All in all I'd say we had a pretty good meal for a good price. I think I'll go here when my normal Chinese buffet appetite needs to be fulfilled but I'll probably go to Fuji for their seafood when I can afford it.
